Singer Frank Sinatra Jr. passed away Wednesday at the age of 72 of cardiac arrest prior to a performance at the Peabody Auditorium, according to the Associated Press.
Sinatra was on tour in Daytona Beach to perform a tribute to his father’s famous music. His death was confirmed at the Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach.

The Peabody Auditorium’s officials earlier confirmed that Sinatra fell ill and had to cancel the performance at the Florida venue.
Sinatra was born in 1944 to the famous Frank Sinatra and his wife, Nancy Barbato. When Sinatra was 19, he was kidnapped for ransom of $240,000.
His career as a singer, actor and conductor for his father’s orchestra in the late 1980s became the most acclaimed act in the musical era.
