Police said two people were killed and at least four injured after two explosions in the Quiapo area of the Philippines capital Manila on Saturday, May 6.
All the casualties were hurt in the first blast, which happened around 5:30pm near the junction of Norzagaray and Elizondo Streets, not far from a community police station.
The second explosion occurred around 8:30pm, shortly after a police press conference about the first explosion.

Police have yet to determine who was responsible and the motive for the attack.
On April 28, at least 13 people were injured after an explosion in the same area of the city. Police said that it was a pipe bomb attack and was not terrorism-related.
