One dead, at least 22 injured in Austria train crash

A train crash in Niklasdorf, Austria has left one person dead and at least 22 people injured on Monday, according to police.

Police data shows that the crash happened around 12:45 pm between a EuroCity train and a regional train. Several wagons derailed.

The country’s federal railway agency said that rides aren’t possible between Bruck/Mur and Leoben Hbf because of the crash. A rail replacement service has been requested.
